Estimating

Nutile and Stone brings precision to the numbers before the first tile is set. Our estimating team produces detailed quantity takeoffs drawn directly from the finish schedules, elevations, and specifications — floor and wall tile, base, saddles, backsplashes, waterproofing, and trim — so what shows up in the proposal is what’s actually on the drawings.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         We don’t wait for an RFI cycle to surface problems. During bidding, we read the documents the way we’d read them in the field: cross-checking finish schedules against plans, flagging conflicts between the spec book and the drawings, and identifying scope that’s shown on one discipline’s sheets and assumed on another’s. Owners and architects hear from us early, while a clarification still costs a phone call instead of a change order.
That work carries through the whole bid package — line-item scope verification, priced alternates and unit rates, labor and material breakouts, and productivity assumptions we’re prepared to stand behind. The result is a bid a construction manager can level with confidence and a number the owner can carry into buyout.
